These Data Processing Terms will only apply to the extent that the Data Protection Legislation applies to the processing of Customer Personal Data, including the processing is in the context of the activities of an establishment of Customer in the EEA; and/or Customer Personal Data is personal data relating to data subjects who are in the EEA and the processing relates to the offering to them of goods or services or the monitoring of their behaviour in the EEA.

Participants have the right to access their stored data, to rectify them if required and to object to the storage of their data for legitimate purposes. We would like to keep your information up-to-date, you may change any of the basic information we keep about you at any time.

e-rubber.gr takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. Your transaction is secure in that you would pay nothing in the event that an unauthorized charge was made to your credit card after purchasing from e-rubber.gr. However, e-rubber.gr cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.
5. How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. Cookies and Tracking
In addition to the information which you supply to us, information and data may be automatically collected through the use of cookies. Cookies are small text files the Website can use to recognise repeat users and allow us to observe behaviour and compile aggregate data in order to improve the Website for you. Cookies also allow us to count the number of unique and return visitors to our Website.
You can configure your Internet browser to accept or reject certain cookies or inform you when a cookie is saved. No cookie can identify a user for more than twenty-six (26) months
We do not cross the information recorded in the cookies with the personal information collected at the time of your registration on the Website or with your online activity.
We may monitor customer traffic patterns, Website usage and related Website information in order to optimize the use of our Website and we may give aggregated statistics to a reputable third-party for analytic purposes, but these statistics will include no information personally identifying you.
9. Server
Encryption of Data Transmission. The transfer of data between your device / your web browser and our servers is done using Transport Layer Security (TLS) Advanced Enncryption Standard with 256-bit key length. This ensures that sensitive content such as usernames, emails, passwords and uploaded documents cannot by accessed or hijacked during transmission.
Regular Security Updates. The operating system and the software of our servers is regularly updated. This way it is ensured that any safety issues caused by identified vulnerabilities are corrected in a timely manner and cannot endanger the integrity of our servers.
Network Firewall. The network firewall is blocking traffic from suspicious address ranges and ensures that only permitted connections (e.g. encrypted connections to the e-rubber WebServer) are established.
Application Firewall The application firewall automatically monitors and verifies all transferred parameters for validity. This way, all requests leading to web server overloads or malicious activities are tracked and blocked
10. Physical Server, Server Security
Our databases and web servers are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. The physical security, network security and system security are ensured by technical and organizational measures in accordance with the current state of technology. These include, for example, the video monitoring of workplace, logging of hardware accesses, redundant connections to the network and centralized backup servers.
11. Internal Procedures
We review and revise our policies and procedures we follow to implement them. Access to our internal systems has now only been restricted to only authorized personel who are certified to use. In addition, we have installed 2 Factor Authentication on the applications we use and the Internet usage policy within our network has been upgraded.
At the same time, procedures for vulnerability management, risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity have improved by means of an internal audit.
12. Technical and Organizational Measures
Appropriate technical and organizational measures have been implemented and substantiated, taking into account, inter alia, the purpose of the processing and the state of the technology used.
